On August 3^rd 2014, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 struck Ludian (Chinese: 鲁甸县; pinyin: Lǔdiàn Xiàn) a county under the administration of Zhaotong city located in the north east of Yunnan Province, China. As a family, all Longrich staff member felt great compassion for the stricken areas. Longrich Loving Foundation has contributed and helped disaster victims endure and recover by providing cleaning, health and personal care products worthy of 5 million RMB.

Mr. Xu Xiaofeng, the president of the Longrich Loving Foundation, commented that the emergency plan to come to rescue the affected population of Ludian was initiated as soon as they were informed about the earthquake. It was reported that all the communications were down due to the damage caused by the quake. Longrich Yunnan branch office organized a rescue team which was sent on site the day following the sad event.

Longrich has always paid much attention to its corporate social responsibility by adhering and being mostly involved in social public welfare and several charity events.  Additionally to the 3 million RMB supplies provided as aid for typhoon' victims of Hainan province, Longrich donated during the last 28 years a total sum of over 440 million RMB which was given to the society in the form of both cash and different types of products including soap, toothpaste and shampoo.
